Ready to Help?

If you want to help restore and maintain a healthy West Fork Watershed, there are many ways, large and small, to get involved, depending on your time, talents, and interests.

Members shape the projects and future of the organization, vote on important issues, and elect the governing board. The Board is elected from the membership. Membership dues are $20 annually for individuals, $30 for households.

Volunteers provide hands-on work with projects, including cleanups and stream monitoring, leading paddles, managing projects, writing grants, maintaining the website and social media, office work, creating educational materials, staffing tables at events, making educational presentations, leading workshops, and working with partner organizations.

Watershed Champions are residents in the watershed who are taking steps to improve water quality and habitat in our watershed through actions they take in their own gardens, yards, and property. Champions learn the relationship of their land to the watershed, minimize stormwater runoff and pollution, improving water quality in the West Fork and tributaries, and create a healthy, diverse garden and yard ecosystem on their property.

Advisory Board Members have a variety of interests and skills and represent various parts of our community. They serve as liaisons and provide expert advice as needed.

If you have less time to be directly involved, but want to help, we welcome donations to support our work.
