It will be paddling season soon, and we have no volunteers to lead paddles at the VA or elsewhere in the watershed, or a coordinator for paddles. If you can lead a paddle for a week or two a month, or take a whole month, or can coordinate who is leading, please email admin@guardiansofthewestfork.org.

See You Next Spring!
Our last pop-up paddle of 2023 got rained out. Paddles will start up in April 2024, and we hope to expand to more locations. We had over a hundred participants. Thanks to Kim Drummond, VISTA Jessica Bryzek, Robert Helfer and Lisa deGruyter for organizing and leading.

Paddle Groups of the Monongahela Watershed
The flatwater rivers of North-Central West Virginia provide excellent paddling opportunities. The major tributaries (West Fork, Tygart Valley, Buckhannon, and Cheat Rivers) and the Monongahela River are a hot-spot for water based recreation.
