The West Fork River Water Trail was established n 2014 along 75 miles of the West Fork River, from the foot of the Stonewall Jackson Dam to Fairmont. The West Fork River passes through 3 counties (Lewis, Harrison, and Marion) and 8 municipalities (Weston, West Milford, Clarksburg, Lumberport, Shinnston, Worthington, Monongah, and Fairmont).
